Extravagance on Churches

It seems incredible, but it is stated that all the domes of the great churches in St. Petersburg, Moscow, and other large cities of Russia, are plated with gold nearly a quarter of an inch thick. The new church of the Saviour, dedicated and opened in Moscow last August, represent a value of fully $15,000,000.
