To the Ecclesiastical Consistory of Alaska

From Vladimir, Bishop of the Aleutian Islands and Alaska

Memorandum

A former singer and then deacon at the Cathedral Church of St. Basil the Great, Nicholas Stepanov Greenkevich, whom we ordained to the rank of a presbyter on the 3rd of this February, is assigned on the vacant position of second priest at the same church in San Francisco, and at the same time is appointed a member of the Ecclesiastical Consistory of Alaska.

A former reader and teacher in the school at our cathedral, Doctor of Medicine Frumenty Winters, whom we ordained to the rank of deacon on the 2nd of this February, should remain in the same vacant position of reader until a further decision is made; however, being a clergyman, he is appointed a member of the Ecclesiastical Consistory of Alaska.

I offer this for the E. Consistory’s information and execution.

Vladimir, Bishop of the Aleutian Islands and Alaska
