Crazed by Religion.

Thomas Coleman, who says he lives on Sutter street, between Larkin and Polk, was arrested by Policeman Ferguson yesterday afternoon as insane. He jumped overboard from Meiggs’ wharf and was swimming around with his clothing on when he was caught. When asked why he did not disrobe before entering the water, he replied that he feared he might catch cold. When searched a lot of religious books and articles of devotion were found on him.
