PASTOR GIVEN FAREWELL
Impressive Services Mark Departure of Very Rev. Theodore Pashkovsky.
Impressive Services were held Sunday in the Russian Church, Van Ness avenue and Green streets, when the Very Reverend Theodore Pashkovsky severed his relations as pastor to accept an appointment in a church in the East from His Grace, Archbishop Platon of New York.
After the services a reception was held in the parish hall, where members of the congregation expressed their regret at the resignation of the pastor.
The Very Reverend Pashkovsky is accepting the call to the East after seventeen years of work among his co-religionists in San Francisco.
The Ladies Endeavor Society and the Brotherhood connected with the church presented the retiring pastor with a set of engrossed resolutions, a silver loving cup and a silver tray with their names engraved on it.
