To the glory of the Holy, Consubstantial and Life-Giving Trinity, the Great Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church in America, acknowledging the undeniable and many-years witness of the Grace of God, revealed through the well-pleasing Servant of God, the Spiritual Father German of Alaska, and having completed a fervent prayer for the repose of his soul, has unanimously decided to accomplish his canonization by the Church, and to fix the date of this canonization, for 27 July / 9 August 1970.
